How to Make a Sploof With or Without Dryer Sheets

Learning how to make a sploof can be a game-changer, especially if done correctly. This post will show you two methods that I’ve used for years. The first method will be an upgraded version of the standard toiler paper roll sploof, and the second method will be a tutorial on how to make a sploof without dryer sheets.

Something to remember; sploof’s won’t 100% mask the smell of cannabis indoors. If you’re looking for a way to smoke indoors without any smell at all, look into getting a smoke buddy.

How to Make a Sploof Using Dryer Sheets

Before we get into the tutorial, you’re going to need a few things.

Scissors, plastic bottle, dryer sheets, and elastics. Everything you need to make a sploof

The Best way to Make a Sploof

Step 1.

The first step to making a sploof is finding the right chamber. Most sploof tutorials out there will tell you to use a toilet paper roll, although this is quick and easy, I think there’s a better way to do it. Find a hard plastic bottle and make sure you have the cap for it, this will come in handy later. I find it’s best to use some sort of plastic bottle with a bigger mouth hole. The last thing you want to have happen is the smoke to miss the bottle because its too small for your mouth.

Step 2.

With your scissors cut/poke 5-10 holes in the bottom of the bottle. You don’t want these holes too big or too small, check the pictures to get an idea of how big they should be.

It’s hard to tell, but there are 5 slits poked into this bottle.

Step 3.

Next, wrap 2-3 dryer sheets around the bottom of the bottle. Make sure to strap these on with an elastic so they can’t fall off.

Step 4.

Stuff dryer sheets inside the bottle and make sure you push them all the way to the bottom. Once the dryer sheets are pushed to the bottom, stuff some toilet paper or paper towel in there as well. This is so that if the dryer sheets were ever to slide up to your mouth you don’t get the gross detergent taste.

Step 5.

Enjoy! You’ve successfully made a sploof that’s ready to use. On a side note; after you blow all of the smoke into the sploof, put the cap back on the plastic bottle quickly. This will ensure that the smoke can only get out one way, and that way is through the dryer sheets.

How To Make a Sploof Without Dryer Sheets

So you’d like to make a sploof but you don’t have dryer sheets? No problem. This method will not work as well as dryer sheets, but it definitely helps.

Here’s What You’ll Need to Make a Sploof Without Dryer Sheets

  • Hard plastic bottle
  • Febreze (Any air freshener works)
  • Toilet paper or paper towel
  • Elastic
  • Scissors or a knife

Step 1.

Similar to the previous method, we’re going to be using a plastic bottle again. I find it’s best to use some sort of plastic bottle with a bigger mouth hole. The last thing you want to have happen is the smoke to miss the bottle because its to small for your mouth.

Step 2.

With your scissors cut/poke 5-10 holes in the bottom of the bottle. You don’t want these holes too big or too small, check the pictures to get an idea of how big they should be.

Step 3.

Take some paper towel/toilet paper off the roll, and spray it with Febreze. It’s important to do this right before you use the sploof.

You want the toilet paper to be damp.

After you’ve generously sprayed Febreze all over the paper towel, wrap it around the bottom of the plastic bottle with elastics so it covers the holes you made previously. Make sure it won’t fall off when you use it.

Step 4.

Next, spray some Febreze on a few more sheets of paper towel and stuff these into the bottom of the bottle. You want these to be pushed all the way to the bottom.

Make sure to spray the toilet paper before you stuff it in. It will not only work better, but it will also prevent Febreze from getting on your lips.

Step 5.

Stuff a few more sheets of paper towel down to the bottom of the bottle, but don’t spray these with Febreze. This is so that if the Febreze-sprayed paper towel were ever to slide up to your mouth you don’t get the gross detergent taste.

Step 6.

Enjoy! On a side note; after you blow all of the smoke into the sploof, put the cap back on the plastic bottle quickly. This will prevent any smoke from escaping the bottle without passing through the Febreeze-sprayed paper towel.
